Aaron Clemens is the founder and president of Save a Teen. A little about me I went to Palm Beach Gardens High School. I was in the Tourism and Hospitality and Resort Management Magnet Program as well as a member of many other student organizations at my time at Palm Beach Gardens High School like Future Business Leaders of America, National Technical Honor Society, National Honor Society, the Library club to name a few. I was a fourth place winner in the Reach for excellent category for the pathfinder awards as well that was hosted at the Kravis
Center. I was also in the top 18 percent of my class at Gardens High School as well. After that I went to Palm Beach State College to get my Associate of Science Degree in Tourism and Hospitality and Resort Management Program. The organizations I was involved in College was Phi-Beta-Lambda which I was the President of at Palm Beach
State College as well as Vice President of Student Government Association.
At thirteen years old I was adopted as an adopted child with Jim Sackett on the 5:00pm news on wptv news channel 5. The family that Adopted me saw me on the adopt child segment and I met them and they could not have kids and I like them a lot and the family adopted me. They taught me many life skills so I can be a successful person in life and encouraged me to go after my dreams and go to college they saved my life and I have a family now I will always feel greatly appreciated for and I am starting this nonprofit because I want to inspire and raise awareness to parents all throughout the country to adopt teenagers in the foster care program so they can have
a family to go home to and to be successful in life. Our nonprofit will also provide resources to parents on how to adopt teens and create programs for the teenagers that don’t get adopted in the foster care system like providing scholarships to help pay for college and many more programs as well.
